Oakever Games, a relatively small but ambitious indie studio, has carved a niche for itself with Meowdoku: Brain Puzzle Games, a title that blends the classic logic of Sudoku with a charming feline aesthetic. The game falls squarely into the puzzle genre, but it's elevated by its unique sound effects and art style—think soft, pastel-colored grids with adorable cat illustrations that replace traditional numbers. The chirps and purrs that accompany each correct placement are delightfully satisfying, creating a relaxed yet engaging atmosphere. This auditory feedback loop, paired with the clean, low-poly art, makes even the trickiest grids feel less like a chore and more like a cozy brain-teaser with a furry companion.

The storyline is minimal but effective: you're a cat lover tasked with helping a virtual kitty escape a series of maze-like Sudoku boards. Each solved puzzle unlocks a new room or decoration for your feline friend, adding a light progression system that keeps you hooked. How to play?

Step1 🎮 Download Meowdoku from your app store and launch it. The opening screen greets you with a cat animation—tap "Start" to begin your first puzzle.

Step2 🐾 When the grid appears, notice the 9x9 board split into 3x3 boxes. Your goal: fill every row, column, and box with numbers 1-9 without repeats. The cat icons in the corner represent your hints.

Step3 📝 Tap an empty cell, then use the number pad at the bottom to input a guess. A soft purr confirms correct placements; a meow means you've made a mistake. Use the eraser icon to undo.

Step4 🕒 For harder grids, activate the "Time Freeze" by long-pressing the timer icon (top right). This pauses the clock for 15 seconds—perfect for analyzing tricky patterns.
